Yeah, it feels disgusting when you take someone's dish out, it smells funny when people combine coke, cream of mushroom soup, and vinegar (seriously), and it looks bad when you trip over the wall glass and break it. But then again, these are experiences nonetheless, experiences that not a lot of people will or have to go through in their lives.
Why am i bringing this up? because if you dont know what to do with your life, and you are just like me. Being a waiter for a short term period of time will probably open up new windows for you-maybe not on career opportunities, but more on(in a cheesy way) self discovery and enlightenment.
A month or two in this job, will really show you how the world works.
also, maybe you'll get a 10,000 dollar tip . ^_^

It has surprised me that there's somebody out there who wants to become a waiter/waitress too! What I really wanna do is quit my job and go to some far off exotic place and be a waitress -- to learn about the people and their culture and live a happy and stress free life!
ReplyDeleteI know right! Yeah..But it was fun for me. Had a blast waiting people. Though some irritated me like the big fat lady that kept yelling for "pineapple mango juice".-_-'
ReplyDeleteWell you should try it. Definitely a humbling experience so to say the least. But definitely something you don't want to be doing forever. :p
